Free Tomato Seeds

Campbell’s Soup is giving back to the nation.
If the link doesn't work copy and paste or type the address in the address bar.
On March 15th, 2009, visit to see how you can get free Campbell’s tomato seeds when you buy any kind of Campbell’s condensed soups.

You’ll be getting more than just seeds, though. As their website says, “Your request will help Campbell’s donate seeds to plant gardens in communities and schools across America.”

They have a partnership with the National FFA Organization, a group that is dedicated to help teach the next generation of farmers, along with singer Jewel. Together they have created the “PALS” program - Partners in Active Learning Support. The program puts high school agriculture students together with elementary school children to help them “build trust and develop positive self’esteem”, as well as teaching them the joy of growing your own food.

As part of the “PALS” initiative, Campbell’s will also build at least 3 new greenhouses devoted to agricultural learning.

They’re not just using the “Help Grow Your Soup” program to teach children about gardening, though. Another goal in their partnership with the National FFA is to restore historic barns across the nation. They have chosen 5 barns to renovate, helping to preserve part of our heritage. The local FFA chapters will help coordinate the building efforts.
